General Product Questions
What materials do you use for your collars and leads?
Our products are handmade using high-quality materials such as durable nylon dog rope, strong 550 Paracord, heavy-duty polypropylene webbing, grosgrain ribbon, and metal hardware. Each material is chosen for strength, comfort, and everyday reliability.
Are your collars suitable for dogs that pull?
Our products are built to be strong, but no piece of equipment is indestructible. For dogs that pull strongly, we recommend using a harness or backup safety clip and not relying solely on a single collar.
How do I measure my dog for a collar or martingale?
Measure your dog’s neck where the collar sits, leaving enough room for two fingers.
For martingales, also measure the widest part of your dog’s head. Choose a size that adjusts slightly larger and smaller than this measurement so it can slip over the head comfortably but still fit securely.
What is the difference between your Martingale styles?
We offer three handmade Martingale designs:
-
Metal Chain Loop: Traditional style with metal tightening chain.
-
Webbing & Ribbon Loop: Fully fabric loop for quieter, softer operation.
-
Half-Check Style: Minimal design where the D-ring and tightening section are built directly into the collar.
All styles use the same webbing and ribbon, so the look stays consistent regardless of the type you choose.
Orders & Customisation
Can I request a custom size or colour?
Yes! Many of our items are available for custom sizing or colour combinations. If you’d like a custom version, just contact us before ordering.
How long does a custom order take?
Processing times vary based on materials and order volume. Webbing and ribbon items typically take about 3 business days to produce. Made-to-order paracord items require approximately 2–3 business days due to the time needed for braiding. We’ll notify you right away if any unexpected delays come up.
How do I choose my preferred Martingale style?
Please choose your preferred style (Metal Chain Loop, Webbing & Ribbon Loop, or Half-Check Style) when placing your order.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary by location. Estimated shipping times are displayed at checkout.
Do you offer tracking?
Yes. All orders can be shipped with tracking where available. You’ll receive your tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.
What happens if my parcel is delayed?
Once your order is handed over to the carrier, delivery speed and route are outside of our control. Weather, holidays, customs, or local delays may affect transit times. If your parcel appears delayed, please check your tracking link and contact the carrier directly for the quickest updates.
What should I do if my parcel is lost?
If your parcel appears lost or hasn't moved for several days, please contact us. We’ll help you raise an inquiry with the carrier and explore the next steps.
Product Care & Safety
How do I clean my collar or lead?
Most products can be rinsed with lukewarm water and mild soap.
Paracord and rope items can also be machine-washed on a gentle cycle and air-dried.
Do Paracord items stretch?
Yes, Paracord has a natural minimal stretch. Even though we pre-shrink it before weaving, slight flexibility is normal and expected.
Why can I see small melting points on Paracord products?
Heat-sealing is required to secure Paracord ends. These points are part of the crafting process and not a defect.
Is your gear safe to leave on my dog all the time?
No. For safety reasons, dogs should not wear collars or leads unsupervised. Always remove gear when your dog is unattended.
Sizing, Strength & Fit
How strong are your collars and leads?
Each item is made with quality materials such as heavy-duty rope, paracord, webbing, or Biothane. While strength ratings vary between styles, all materials and hardware are selected to be safe for everyday walks. Still, no collar or lead is indestructible, so we recommend regular checks for wear and tear.
What size should I choose?
Each product listing includes a size guide. If you're unsure, measure your dog and send us the numbers — we're happy to help you choose the best fit.
